Longwell has long been aware of the importance and necessity of controlling the hazardous substances in our products and initiated Cadmium control in 1998 and Lead control in 2000. By now all of our products are RoHS compliant.

Longwell was awarded the ISO14001 Environment Management System certificate in 2000. Longwell has set up an EMS team dedicated to hazardous substances management and our EMS has achieved wide recognition from our customers.


Longwell has set up a set of comprehensive procedures covering supplier management, incoming inspection, in process and outgoing inspection for environmental substances management to ensure the compliance with the statutory and customer requirements.

Longwell's world-class product analysis and reliability testing labs combine product reliability testing as defined by IPC with the most stringent customer requirements. Longwell established ICP test lab in 2000 and XFR test lab in 2004. Each lot of incoming material is tested according to ¡§Heavy Metal Test Procedure¡¨ to ensure its compliance with Longwell's high standards.
